Pulse Finance is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Parfett to the role of HR Manager, reflecting both her strong contribution to the business and the company’s continued growth and ambitious future objectives.

The appointment comes as Pulse Finance gear up for growth as they confirm their commitment to supporting UK businesses who over recent times have experienced a challenging landscape but are resilient in their determination to grow.

Sarah has been with Pulse Finance for over three years, during which time she has played a key role in strengthening HR operations and supporting a people-first culture as the business has expanded. Prior to joining Pulse Finance, Sarah built a successful 14-year career in HR, working across a range of companies and industries and bringing deep expertise in both operational and strategic human resources.

Sarah commented: “I’m delighted to be stepping into the role of HR Manager at such an exciting time for Pulse Finance. As the business continues to grow, I’m passionate about ensuring our people strategy evolves alongside it — supporting our teams, nurturing talent, and building a culture that enables everyone to thrive while we pursue our ambitious objectives.”

In an increasingly competitive and fast-changing environment, businesses are facing growing challenges when it comes to attracting, developing, and retaining talent. Shifting employee expectations, skills shortages, regulatory complexity, and the need to balance flexibility with performance have made people management more critical than ever. As organisations grow, maintaining a strong culture while supporting employee wellbeing, engagement, and capability requires clear leadership and a strategic approach to HR that aligns people priorities with commercial objectives.

Pulse Finance plays a vital role in helping SMEs navigate the challenging business environment by connecting business owners with tailored funding solutions.  Pulse Finance provide funding facilities up to £5m giving them the confidence to drive forward with their plans with the confidence that they have access to the funds they need and the support of a committed funder.

As Pulse Finance continues to grow, the creation of this role recognises the increasing importance of strategic people management in supporting the company’s long-term aspirations. In her new position, Sarah will manage the HR department for Pulse Finance, balancing day-to-day operational delivery while maintaining a strategic focus on developing, engaging, and supporting the company’s most valuable asset – its people.

Commenting on the promotion, Toni Dare, Managing Director of Pulse Finance, said: “As Pulse Finance continues to grow and set ambitious goals for the future, it’s essential that we invest in strong leadership across the business. Sarah’s promotion is thoroughly deserved. She brings a wealth of HR expertise, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to our people. Her ability to align HR strategy with business objectives makes her an invaluable part of our leadership team.”

Sarah’s appointment highlights Pulse Finances’ commitment to building for the future by investing in its people and developing leadership capability to support sustainable growth.
