Pulse Finance has announced the appointment of Rachael Burling as Business Development Manager, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the funding needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the United Kingdom.

In her new role, Rachael will be responsible for expanding Pulse Finance’s reach within the UK market increasing firms access to flexible finance solutions.  Rachel brings over a decade of experience working within the Australian financial services sector and joins Pulse Finance from Spenda, a business platform that acts as both a software solutions provider and a payment processor.   Prior to that she worked for The Invoice Market and Earlypay delivering invoice finance solutions to a range of businesses whilst developing relationships with financial advisors to ensure growth in awareness of this valuable funding solution.

Rachael’s appointment comes as UK SMEs navigate a challenging business environment. The UK economy is in a low-growth, cautious state.  While it is technically expanding (Q2’s GDP at 0.3%), the pace is slow, the labour market is cooling and structural headwinds remain.  Rising operational costs, tighter lending conditions, and ongoing regulatory pressures continue to affect business confidence.

“It’s a really challenging time for UK SMEs with no sign of a change in conditions any time soon” says Rachael.  “I’m passionate about enabling business owners to grow their firms by providing the resources they need to support their plans.  SMEs are the backbone of the UK economy, and providing them with flexible, transparent finance solutions from a reliable financial partner that they can trust is essential for sustainable growth. I look forward to helping more businesses access the capital and support they need to thrive.”

Pulse Finance plays a vital role in helping SMEs navigate this environment by connecting business owners with tailored funding solutions.  Pulse Finance provide funding facilities up to £5m giving them the confidence to drive forward with their plans.

As Gary Davis, Head of Sales at Pulse Finance says: “We’re delighted to welcome Rachael to the Pulse Finance team.  Her experience and enthusiasm in building strategic partnerships and deep understanding of SME finance will be instrumental in helping UK businesses access the funding they need to grow.  With lending conditions tightening we are increasing our focus on reaching out to SMES to ensure they have access to flexible funding packages to support their businesses.”
